An alleged drink driver has seen the charge dropped - but he's been fined after struggling with officers when he was detained.
27 year old Craig Brown of Court Row in Ramsey appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
He admitted resisting police on June 14 last year, but a drink-driving charge was withdrawn by the prosecution.
The court heard Brown struggled with officers at around 3.30am after they knocked on his door to investigate the drink-driving complaint.
Magistrates told him he'd been foolish to resist, saying if he'd cooperated he wouldn't have ended up in the dock.
They fined him £400 and ordered him to pay £150 costs.
