A Douglas man who drove a tipper truck that hadn't been taxed for three months has been fined.
Mark Phillip David Galbraith of Cushag Road in Anagh Coar admitting having no tax when he appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 32 year old refused the services of the duty advocate and represented himself during the hearing.
The court was told police on patrol spotted Galbraith just after 4.30pm on February 12 in Anagh Coar Lane.
A computer check showed his tax ran out last November, and they followed him to a nearby car park where he admitted the offence.
After hearing he had numerous previous convictions for having untaxed vehicles, magistrates fined him £100 and ordered him to pay £50 costs.
