A man's been told he can't go through an employment tribunal on the Island over alleged unfair dismissal and wage deductions - because he agreed not to when he signed his contract.
Giliard Alves Gomes worked remotely for Manx-based 1337Probet and UK-based Leetent Ltd, both part of an egaming group trading in Turkey and South Africa.
The hearing was told he'd been sacked last June but although he claimed he was owed £8,500 in wages he hadn't worked for the companies long enough to take up a Manx claim.
And after being told he'd signed contracts to be bound by UK laws, they dismissed his complaint.
