A man who went to his girlfriend's house 40 minutes after he was released by police investigating a complaint she'd made has been remanded in custody as he awaits sentence.
Kenneth O'Connell of Church Road in Douglas admitted provoking behaviour when he appeared before Douglas magistrates this week.
The court heard he'd been questioned at police headquarters about an allegation from his girlfriend - but despite police warning him not to contact her, he went to her home at 12.40am on Tuesday, November 14 and shouted to her.
O'Connell was denied bail and will appear again on December 21.
