Manning hits back at Jersey complaint

The Island’s football manager has said Jersey’s complaint about having to play the Inter-League Cup final here proves they’re worried about facing the Manx in Douglas.

Kevin Manning was reacting to news this morning that Jersey’s manager was trying to get the match moved to a different venue because of his concerns with the artificial pitch at the Bowl.

Their manager Craig Culkin claimed the ‘wheels were in motion’ for a change of venue, but Manning hit strongly, suggesting other factors were playing their part in this (see audio).
