    Manx branch of Relay for Life recognised at House of Lords

    Committee members from the Isle of Man Relay For Life team have been honoured at a special reception at the House of Lords. 

    The team received a 'Flame of Hope' Award in London in recognition of the work and fundraising that's been done.  

    The 24-hour walking relay events take place across the UK - the Island has participated in seven so far.

    In that time fundraisers have raised more than £400,000 for Cancer Research UK - £78,000 was collected at this year's event with the final figure still to be declared.
