Manx Care has issued advice for residents and visitors during this year's TT festival.
On Facebook, the organisation says if you live on the Island and have an appointment at Noble's or Ramsey Hospitals you should leave plenty of time for your journey because of the extra traffic, and let staff know on 650103 if you can't attend.
It says visitors should make sure they have adequate health insurance to cover their trip in case the worst happens.
And those coming to the Island for the festival should bring all prescription medications and any other medical items they need with them on their visit.
