Manx Gas says it wants to work with regulators to agree gas prices on Island as soon as possible.
The organisation made the statement in a short video update released on social media this week.
In it, Manx Gas claims that because of a 'U-turn' towards proposals for statutory regulation, customers won't know how much they'll pay for gas this year or if they'll receive a rebate for last year.
In its statement, the company says it wants to provide certainty for residents and businesses.
Both Manx Gas and government had been in negotiations over a new voluntary gas deal before Tynwald voted last month to impose gas regulations by the end of April after negotations stalled.
