Manx students shouldn’t be put off going to university now that they have to contribute towards their fees.
That’s the message from the Department of Education and Children after controversial plans to charge them £2,500 per year were passed in Tynwald this week.
Despite heavy criticism from politicians the motion passed with Minister Tim Crookall saying the changes will save around £3.8 million.
