The Isle of Man is now recognized as an Important Marine Mammal Area (IMMA).
That's according to the Marine Mammal Protected Areas Task Force, which shows Manx waters meet the criteria.
IMMAs are discreet areas of habitat, important to marine mammal species, that have the potential to be managed for conservation.
