Merging the Manx Electricity Authority will result in a cost saving for customers.
Customers will see their bills increase by three per cent as opposed to the seven per cent originally forecast.
The MEA will join forces with the Water and Sewerage Authority from April 1st to become the Manx Utitlies Authority.
It’s after Tynwald approved the proposals as part of a plan to make government smaller and simpler.
