Two Douglas men have admitted taking part in an unprovoked attack on a stranger in Peel.
Brian Graham Lowther of Hillside Terrace in Douglas and Dylan Edward Wiseman of Cronk Grianagh appeared before magistrates this week.
19 year old Lowther admitted assault, while 17 year old Wiseman pleaded guilty to provoking behaviour in relation to the attack on December 9.
The court heard they’d shouted abuse at a man they didn’t know in Oak Road at around 10pm - Lowther threw a number of punches during the incident and had to be subdued by police officers with Pava spray.
Magistrates adjourned the case for reports to be prepared before both are sentenced.
Wiseman was bailed until April 4, while Lowther - who’s currently serving a jail term for other offences - was remanded until his next appearance on February 21.
