Manx Care has announced the success of mental health workers studying cognitive behavioural therapy.
Eight people from the body's Integrated Mental Health Service completed their postgraduate diploma award in high intensity CBT training.
CBT is a talking therapy most commonly used for depression and anxiety.
Manx Care said the number of people waiting on the list has reduced by 50 per cent since April, with the goal of 25 per cent in the next few months.
