The Steam Packet Company has confirmed the Manxman suffered damage as she approached Heysham last night.
Sailings have been disrupted after an incident at around midnight towards the end of the vessel's crossing - the Steam Packet Company hasn't said what happened but eyewitness reports in the UK say she was damaged after hitting her berth.
The Ben my Chree carried out the return sailing from Lancashire, but today's Douglas to Heysham crossing at 8.45am may be affected.
There's also the possibility of the 3pm Manannan voyage to Liverpool - and her return trip - being affected by bad weather.
