MGP opening race to go ahead as scheduled

The opening race in this year’s Manx Grand Prix programme will go ahead as scheduled.

Roads will close at 1pm for the four-lap Newcomers race - which will get under way at 2pm.

Delayed qualifying sessions for the senior, junior, lightweight and super twin classes will go ahead at 3:45pm

All races will be flagged at 4:15pm - with roads due to open around the course at around 5pm.
