Lib Vann MHK Laurie Hooper has accused a fellow member of the House of Keys of "outright lies".
He was commenting on the resignation of Onchan MHK Julie Edge from the party, amid claims she'd been gagged by party leader and health minister Kate Beecroft.
Miss Edge quit this week, saying she'd been told not to ask questions of the minister about policies during Keys sittings.
On Twitter, however, Mr Hooper claimed that wasn't true - describing Miss Edge's allegations as "complete and utter nonsense", "fabrication", and an "outright lie".
No she wasn’t - it’s a complete fabrication https://t.co/cjixN1U3f1

Complete and utter nonsense - can’t believe that Julie would just outright lie like this https://t.co/atwfuJViIt

Except that’s a complete fabrication - Kate never instructed Julie not to ask questions. Ms Edge has just outright lied to her constituents https://t.co/juHFAEfS8V
