Calls From Packed Out Audience For Minister Cretney\'s Resignation
Last night saw the public meeting set up to hear the public’s views on the recently changed Bus timetable.
150 angry locals packed out the Royal Legion club to have their voices heard, flagging up what they consider major flaws in the new timetable.
Mr Henderson said during the meeting there were calls for Minister Cretney's resignation if the matter of the timetable wasn't rectified immediately.
MHK Brenda Cannel, someone who had worked on the timetable, used the meeting to announce her resignation from the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure.
She said she flagged up a series of errors that she identified before they published the new look schedule, but says her concerns fell on deaf ears.
MHK Henderson says her resignation will be seen as a major blow to Minister Cretney.
