Why is government being so slow on securing a sustainable future for sea services?

That's Onchan MHK Peter Karran - he says it doesn't have the upper hand at the negotiation table with Peel Holdings over the Liverpool landing stage.

Talks have taken place between the company and the Department of Infrastructure in a bid to secure it for the future.

Minister Phil Gawne was questioned on the subject in the House of Keys this week and defended the department's position:
