MHK to raise living wage issue in Tynwald

A national living wage will be back on the agenda for Tynwald when it sits this week.

North Douglas MHK David Ashford will quiz the Economic Development Minister about what his department has done to establish a figure for the living wage.

Mr Ashford says he's concerned the UK has now set a figure for the wage, whilst the Island only has a minimum wage.

He says having both is a good thing but more work needs to be done:
