An MHK is calling for a radical overhaul of the current model of ministerial government that’s been in place for the last 26 years.
Richard Ronan says in the two years he’s represented Castletown he’s witnessed inconsistent approaches and a lack of cohesion as a direct result of the current system.
Now, he wants Allan Bell to have more power and the support of a deputy chief minister and a person focused on international relations.
Mr Ronan says previous attempts to overhaul government haven’t worked:
Where has government found £11m in savings?
Is there border security for Irish sailings?
Emergency powers used to fell trees
Busy road in West to close next week
Free period products would cost £90k in 1st year
MHK wants to know about bail condition breaches
1,500 A&E patients weren't registered with GP
Will the Island's mad cow disease risk status improve?
