An Onchan MHK has refused to reveal why he quit his position within the Department of Health and Social Care saying he won't wash his dirty linen in public.
It was announced yesterday that Rob Callister had stepped down from the role - he's cited a difference of opinion with Minister Kate Beecroft as one of the reasons:
He says he's 'extremely disappointed' to submit his resignation at such an early stage of the new administration.
However Mr Callister says he is better suited out of the department:
