MHKs have rejected a move to allow assisted suicide on the Isle of Man.
The House of Keys voted against Rushen MHK Juan Watterson's bill earlier today.
The topic has been in the spotlight recently following the conclusion of the inquest into the death of a 60-year-old Peel woman last year.
Cathy Pridham committed suicide by walking into the sea after learning she had aggressive terminal cancer - prior to her death she had engaged in theoretical conversations about assisted dying and visited a number of websites referring to the subject.
