Residents of Michael will see their rates rise by 8.7 per cent this year.
The local authority says it'll be putting up rates from 148p in the pound to 161p.
Michael Commissioners say that'll mean the average household rates in the district will be £18.95 a year.
Among the most expensive things the board says it pays for are the costs of the Western Civic Amenity Site, this year's local election and Japanese Knotweed removal.
