The Island's Minimum wage has officially gone up.
From today, the rate will rise by around five per cent - from £7.85 to £8.25 per hour.
It comes following recommendations in the Minimum Wage Committee report, which were then accepted by the Treasury and the Department for Enterprise.
The wage per hour for those over 16 but under 18 is also going up to £6.15, and the 'Development Worker' rate has boosted to £7.30.
The changes were approved at the June sitting of Tynwald earlier this year.
