Tynwald members will vote next week on whether to raise the Island's minimum wage to a penny an hour above the UK's.
Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston will ask members to approve interim regulations raising the adult rate to £11.45 an hour.
If the measures are approved, under-18s would get £8.75 an hour.
Tynwald sits from 10am in Legislative Buildings in Douglas on Tuesday.
