The minimum wage is set to rise to just a penny over the UK's hourly rate for adults and 10p below it for young people.
Recommendations from the Island's minimum wage committee for 2024 have been published on the government's website.
It says as an interim figure in the coming year, adults should get £11.45 an hour - in the UK, they're paid £11.44.
But for young people it wants to set the rate at £8.50 - the UK pays £8.60 to people aged 18 to 20.
Tynwald will have to vote on the interim amounts.
