The Health and Social Care Minister says the Island's current drug and alcohol advisory service meets the needs of locals.
Kate Beecroft MHK was questioned by Douglas North MHK David Ashford in the House of Keys yesterday about why the service contract is operated under a one year rolling tender process.
She said the current contract means the service is flexible, and making changes would be harder under a longer contract.
Mrs Beecroft also revealed since the last contract ended in 2015, bids have not yet met the financial requirements of the department.
