Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says he hopes this year will see an end to short airport closures because of staff shortages.
Last summer, Ronaldsway had to close a number of times because of a lack of air traffic control staff.
This week in Tynwald, Mr Crookall faced questions from Douglas South MHK Claire Christian about any expected problems during the summer season.
