The Manx elements of new obelisks marking the Islands coastal footpath will be made more prominent going forward.
That's according to Infrastructure Minister, Ray Harmer MHK, who says the new landmarks for Raad ny Foillan have received 'mixed responses'.
Mr Harmer adds, following discussions with the Chair of Visit Isle of Man the Manx text on them will be at the 'front and centre' of the designs, calling the Manx language 'an important part of our lives and culture' which they want visitors to engage with.
The first of the four pillars on the route was installed at Bradda Hiar in Port Erin and unveiled by former BBC Countryfile presenter, Julia Bradbury, last Friday (November 15).
