Tynwald will be asked to approve a spend of over £400,000 for work to stabilise a cliff face.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture needs £407,000 to address the land slippage at Ballure Cliffs.
The department wants to take the money as additional expenditure from the Capital Transactions Account.
If approved it would be repaid within 30 years.
