The Department of Infrastructure says the number of accidents involving bus passengers has leapt 30 per cent in a year - but it's not because there are more incidents.
A freedom of information request to the department asked how many reports there'd been for the past five years.
The figures show a steady rise each year, with incidents jumping from 25 in 2015 to 33 last year.
However, the DOI says the number of accidents isn't rising - claiming the increase on better reporting.
