DEFA officials have issued a warning after motorbike damage was caused at an Island plantation.
The department says it's been done to newly planted woodland at Ohio Plantation in Sulby.
As a result, officials are reminding residents it's an offence to stray in to woodlands or onto open heathland and those caught doing so will be prosecuted.
They add it's also a sensitive time of year for wildlife especially for ground nesting birds - it's illegal to disturb them.
