A Castletown woman who blamed having no car tax on ‘life’s stresses’ has been fined £100.
45-year-old Nicola Enid Galbraith, of Alexandra Road, admitted the offence via Coroner’s Admission at Douglas Courthouse on Thursday.
Police stopped her on Alexandra Road just after 9pm on April 16th - her tax disc had expired in July 2016.
Magistrates also ordered her to pay prosecution costs of £50.
