    Motorists warned to take care in 60mph winds

    The Met Office say they expect to see the winds easing as we move later into today.

    Motorists are being warned that high winds will be making for tricky driving conditions this morning.
     
    High-sided vehicles are particularly warned to stay away from high roads, with all drivers urged to be careful for debris and branches in the roads.
     
    So far there have been no incidents of fallen trees reported, however gusts are expected to reach 60mph at times.
     
    There will be no fastcraft sailings today as a consequence.
     
    The Met Office say they expect to see the winds easing as we move later into today.
