The owners of the Mount Murray have unveiled a proposed new look for the hotel.
In a planning application, Comis Holdings has asked to partially demolish some buildings, relocate fire escapes, remove a roundabout and demolish some balcony roofs.
The company says it also wants to replace the existing swimming pool and extend the keep fit area on the upper floor.
The complex was hit by a fire three years ago, and bought by Comis in March after the death of former owner Albert Gubay in January.
