The Manx Utilities Authority says it's starting to see the cost of living crisis bite as more of its customers get in touch over payment difficulties.
This morning, MUA chief executive Phil King was giving evidence to Tynwald's Economic policy Review Committee about pricing and the financial outlook.
He revealed fewer than a dozen people are threatened with disconnection each year because they can't pay electricity bills.
But he added the number of people getting in touch about payment difficulties is rising:
