A local daughter and Mum will attempt to walk 40 miles this weekend to raise money for a local charity.
18-year-old Connie Trevethan and her Mum, Lorna will attempt to walk from the Point of Ayre down to the Sound on Saturday (Feb 25).
It's to raise money for the 'Alzheimer's Society' and is in honour of her Grandad Frank - who before passing away, lived with Dementia.
The charity aims to 'transform the landscape fo dementia forever' saying 'until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted.'
She's so far raised £580, and if you'd like to donate you can click here.
