    Mystery as three-legged landmark vanishes

One of the largest and most visible landmarks in the north of the Island has disappeared.

The giant three legs of Man on North Barrule vanished in the space of around eight hours yesterday.

The triskele, measuring a hundred feet wide, was built by retired builder Bryan Callister in 2019.

Over the years, it was the subject of rows about planning permission.

It’s not yet known who removed the national symbol from the hillside.
