National strategy needed for coastal erosion, says Minister

An Island wide strategy is needed to tackle the threat of coastal erosion.

That's the word from the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister following accusations that too little is being done to control erosion in Kirk Michael.

However Richard Ronan says instead of focussing on individual cases government is developing a national strategy.

He says it's a far more cost effective sensible approach:
