Health minister Claire Christian says the island buys new ambulances as needed under a rolling replacement scheme.
She faced a question for written reply from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse who wanted to know how often ambulances are replaced.
Ms Christian said the Ambulance Service and Department of Infrastructure are part of a programme which ensures the Island us up to date with standards from the UK, Ireland and other Crown Dependencies.
She said most recently new ambulances were bought at the end of 2023 and start of 2024, and new ambulances are being ordered for this year.
