New BBC series to start with Island based episode

A new TV series starting this month chronicling the childhood holiday destinations of celebrities will kick off on the Isle of Man.

Holiday of My Lifetime will see host Len Goodman take a trip down memory lane with 'Hairy Biker' Dave Myers.

Dave routinely visited the Island as a child and says it played a significant role in two of his lifelong passions, food and motorbikes.

Both the Department of Economic Development and Manx National Heritage were involved in assisting the producers of the programme.

It will air on BBC 1 on Monday.
