A new Bribery Act came into force in the Isle of Man this week.
Under the new legislation, organisations will need to ensure that their anti-bribery procedures are adequate both here and in other operational jurisdictions.
The act was updated, enhanced and enforced in the UK in 2010 as an improvement on what it already had in place - a practice that is being replicated in the Island.
