New business brains could benefit economy

Budding entrepreneurs are being encouraged to progress new ideas, technology and inventions - in the hope it could boost the Manx economy.

A "Start-up Saturdays" initiative is being run in Peel in March - the aim is to help people research, test, plan and launch a new venture - you can find more information on Facebook.

It's hoped this could lead to jobs being created, international trading and overall supporting the Manx supply chain.

Kate Lord-Brennan will run the workshops - she says they provide a good starting point:
