The Isle of Man's next Judge of Appeal looks set to earn almost £180,000 a year.
Applications are now being invited for the five-year position.
The successful applicant will preside over the Appeals Division of the High Court which deals with civil, family and criminal matters.
Candidates must have held high judicial office in the Isle of Man or British Isles for at least five years.
The position is currently being filled by an off-Island part time judge who's retiring - their successor must be permanent and based on the Island.
The Isle of Man Government says the appointment will reduce the burden of appeal work placed on the First and Second Deemsters and allow them to focus on other commitments.
Her Majesty the Queen will make the appointment based on a recommendation made by a panel.
