The finer details of a lease agreement, as well as final works on the fuel tanks and access ladders are the last pieces of the puzzle before the new Liverpool Terminal can commence operation in March.
The controversial project nearly doubled in price during its development, with covid causing huge delays and subsequent price hikes in equipment.
Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall confirmed that as it stands everything looks good for the terminal to receive their first crossing on March 22nd of this year.
He explained there are contingencies in place should there be any further delays:
