Local businesses pooled their resources to help build a new Santa Sleigh for Douglas Rotary Club.
It came about after the original sleigh was vandalised at the start of the year.
For 50 years every each Christmas, the Sleigh, known as Rudolph, makes its yearly trip to the primary schools and residential areas in Douglas.
The rotary’s initial plan was to search the internet for a replacement, only to find that it was not possible to buy them – leaving them no choice but to build one from scratch.
With the help of several local businesses, the new sleigh is now up and running two weeks before Christmas at a total cost of £5,000.
