Christopher Eccleston On Island for BBC2 Drama
Hot on the heels of the Decoy Bride a new TV drama is to be shot on the Island.
As one Dr Who departs another arrives, this time in the form of Christopher Eccleston.
He’ll be on the Island filming The Shadow Line, a gritty thriller for BBC2 featuring an all star British cast.
Joining Eccleston will be Chiwetal Ejiofor from American Gangster, Sir Anthony Sher from The Wolfman and up and comer Rafe Spall from Shaun of the Dead.
The series focuses on a policeman left with amnesia after recieveing a bullet in his brain, it's described as very dark with a shocking climax.
It will be spread out over 6 episodes, and produced and directed by Hugo Blick, the man behind hit comedy series Marion and Geoff.
It’s started shooting on the Island this week.
