New Tynwald President promises to work 'efficiently and fairly'

The outgoing Garff MHK says it's been a "privilege" to represent the constituency over the last 21 years.

Steve Rodan won't be standing for re-election after being appointed as the new President of Tynwald this week:

The former Speaker of the House of Keys, who's been an MHK for 21 years, went up against Treasury Minister Eddie Teare for the new job.

Mr Rodan says he'll do his best to ensure the business of the court is carried out "efficiently and fairly":
