Barriers at a Douglas car park could be removed due to their 'poor performance'.
That's according to the leader of Douglas Council who's responded to complaints made on Facebook.
David Christian says the council is 'as frustrated' as those who've taken to the social media site to vent about the parking machines at the Shaw's Brow facility.
Concerns have been raised over the fact the payment booths are 'constantly broken' and don't accept certain currency and some card payments.
The councillor says the council is 'constantly on to the supplier' about the issues and is currently looking at replacing the machines and barriers.
He says with the introduction of new five pound notes, and one pound coins, they do not have the confidence that the current machines, if adapted, would 'do the job'.
