There'll be no new inquests for the victims of the Summerland fire, after the Island's Attorney General declined an application.
Campaigners had asked for fresh hearings into the 50 deaths in August 1973, and made an application in March.
However, the government's legal representatives say no fresh evidence has been presented and the original inquests were thorough and effective.
The Attorney General's now written to the Justice for Summerland campaign explaining the decision.
